Mr.  Tom Delap studied medicine at University College Dublin, graduating in 1987,   He undertook general surgical training in Dublin and ENT training at the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear hospital and Crumlin Children's Hospital in Dublin. He successfully completed the specialist ENT Higher Surgical training scheme in London, graduating as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. On completion of ENT specialist training in London he completed  Otology and Rhinology  fellowships in USA. He worked at Savannah Georgia under  the supervision of Dr.M.Manning Goldsmith , Dr Bill House , Dr Fred  Kuhn , Dr Macolm Graham. This was a regional centre of excellence for otology and Rhinology for adults and children.

Following the completion of his training in USA, Mr Tom Delap  took up an NHS  ENT consultant post  at Antrim Area Hospital October 1999 and has worked there with children and adults as an Consultant ENT surgeon for 23 years. Mr Delap Currently  practices privately at the Ulster Independent Clinic, Stranmillis road, Belfast.
